The total / gross amount of the invoice is essentially the sum billed to the customer. In basic terms, it means that the total invoice amount is the value that the customer is expected to pay. This amount also includes the sales value of the product or services, applicable discounts and taxes as well as applicable delivery or shipment charges.
Total (gross) amount of the invoice = Total price exclusive of GST (Net price) + Total amount of GST
